Yoga for a Healthy Back with Denise Wendler

Session A: Yoga for a Healthy Lower Back 11-1:30pm
Yoga can prevent back problems as well as rehabilitate your back once a problem has occurred. Learn how to safely stretch and strengthen your lower back muscles as well as those important back supporters: the hamstrings, hips, & abdominal muscles.
Session B: Yoga for a Healthy Upper Back 2:00-4:30pm
Tightness in the shoulders and upper back can lead to poor posture, neck pain, back pain, and headaches. Learn how to stretch and strengthen the muscles of the upper body, and how to safelyrelease tension and stress.
- Cost: $45 per workshop with Advance Registration or $80 for both.

Denise Wendler teaches regular classes in the San Jose area, and workshops and retreats around California and beyond. Her classes draw faithful students who appreciate her encouraging spirit and patient instruction. Denise has been studying yoga since 1985 and teaching since 1996. She is a certified Iyengar teacher.
