Ashleigh developed a passion for yoga and holistic healing in her early twenties after a roller-derby injury. She is down to earth and compassionate and it shows in her teaching style. Her yoga classes are powerful, heartfelt, and playful. She creates a supportive environment that allows for a deeper understanding of the complex mind-body-spirit connection while inviting joy and laughter. Her hope is that you step off the mat feeling balanced, renewed, and light hearted. Ashleigh enjoys teaching hatha, prenatal and restorative yoga. Her classes are open to all levels.
Ashleigh Oxford received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University Monterey Bay in 2011 and then quickly continued on to become certified as a Holistic Health Coach. In 2015, she received her 200hr yoga teacher training certification from Seaside Yoga Sanctuary, voted best yoga studio for 5 years in a row in Monterey, CA. She supports others to feel well, eat whole, and live in balance as a holistic health coach, chef, and yoga teacher.
Her commitment to her yoga practice, her continuing education, and journey of self-healing has given her the knowledge and compassion to support others on their path towards inner peace. Her approach is to alleviate both physical & emotional suffering by inviting balance and harmony into one’s life through diet, yoga, sustainable lifestyle change, and an abundance of guidance & support.
